Chapter 20 (Academic Standards)

My argument today is based on the misconception of the Academic standards and the problems that they say exist. These problems are not really the problems and the solutions are definitely not the solutions. Once again the idea of conflict theory plays a large role. Once again Karl Marx can be explained to explain this system of "Academic Standards." Meaning, the poor like to complain about the lack of education and that these individuals do not have enough. Last I checked when Albert Einstein went to school they were still using slide rulers and little wooden balls to calculate math. If an individual wants to pass in school and succeed in life it is not based on wealth. It is also not based on if they are bourgeois or a proletarian. decisions exist for anyone who is willing to put in the time and effort. I am sick and tired of people say that they are not where they want to be because of him or her or the economy. If you want something you are going got have to earn it the hard way. You might hear people say I am bad at math or I am bad at reading. That is because he or she is not willing to put in the time or effort. This is not because of someone taking away or not giving enough to that school. The diversity is an  excuses to make more money and waste more taxpayer dollars. There are some advantages to being upper class but that is what you get when you work your tail off. The people who are wealthy for the most part are there because they are doing something the right way. Sure you will have some outliers but those who are wealthy and those who are not wealthy the majority is time and effort based. Not what karl marx's likes to believe as a failed ideology of capitalism. Capitalism is certainly not perfect but it is the best thing the world has at the moment. The nations in foreign countries are doing better with less. So that tells you something that it is not the individuals but maybe even the teachers at fault. For the most part the average IQ is 100. This allows an average human being to just about anything he or she wants out of life. Karl marx will always argue, "An economist who argued that economic class is the major source of inequality in life." When in fact it is up to the individual that sets economic class. This is coming from someone who never maintained a job and leeched of his friends. His education did not even come from a sold school. Therefore, it is easy to say that anyone who has the aptitude and willingness can become something. All and all it my self in cluded have not put my self in an academic standards that do not meet the normal life of an American. However, I certainly know I would use the material and get scholarships for my actions. That would be the only way to elevate your self in society unless you plan on winning the lottery. Which is easy to get hit by lighting than winning.
