Gender Conflict Theory

For years, women and men have had opposing views when it comes to certain things. Things that women think about a big deal are not a big deal to males. Gender-conflict theory is the study of society that focuses on inequality and conflict between women and men. Gender-conflict is important because it gives examples of life places for women and men. For example, When a male boss is mean and demanding he is being a boss but a women boss is consider a "bitch". Why do mean get paid more than women? This is a question that no one can answer. Men getting paid more than women has always been a problem. In my opinion, some women are still looked at as second class citizens and I do know why. Women do just as much as men at there jobs. Women are becoming doctors and many other jobs men have.
In women sports, women are not tried fairy. They are still underpaid. I think no man likes watching women's sports. I always wondered why this is? I still do not have a reason for this. If i could make a guess it is because many men do see women sports as entertaining. The only women's sports that get reconiction is women's tennis. This is because men in different countries like women's tennis. Women in america are suppose to have the same rights as men but this is not true. Women is in american are still tried bad like they are in other countries.
Recently, women have gotten more credit in mass media. We have seen a number of women celebrity getting high praise. Still, women sports is not as popular as male sports. Some men consider women sports as "not athletic". I do not believe that this is true. Women are just as athletic men. In the president election a women candidate was elected as one of the lead nominates for the democratic party. She is the first women candidate ever. This is huge in history. Even though she lost to Barack Obama, it's big that he got elected. I hope that one day we will live in a society that men women and men are equal.
