Technology Culture at its Finest

Growing up as child as a 90`s baby I use to do activities that any child around my generations would've done, draw in my coloring book, read books out loud to my mom, go outside go across the street and knock on your friends door to see if he/she wanted to come play. That was the culture I grew up on , that was about ten years ago. The culture as child now has change,the reason is many factors but I believe one major factor is technology. Nowadays I see child using technology to the fullest the Iphones, the Andriods,the Ipads etc.

 The culture of technology has advance so quickly in short period of time. Instead of children going across the street to see if their friends are home they have a handy cellular device right to make that electronic connection to talk to their friends. I remember when I would go outside as a child and if i saw a group of bikes all in one pile I would know that my friends were around or just go to the park to see who was there .But since technology has advance a quick face book instant message to see what you doing was all you had to do in today`s society.
This came to my attention from personal experiences that when I would be on my ipod my little sister would ask if she could use it now i didn't notice for awhile but she would ask to use my ipod quite frequently through out the day on average about 8 times . According to the C.C.F.C " that any given day, 64% of babies between 1 and 2 watch tv and videos for an average of 2 hours" about ten years ago the time of watching tv was about an 1 hour . The social norm of how children interact and do what children has change into a different social or  how i like to call the iphone the effect .
