"Justice" or "Just Us"

As most have seen there is  a big ordeal going on in Baltimore and many places around the world due to the death of another black male. Freddie Gray was the young man that died due to significant injury to his spine which caused his death. The recent chapter that relates to this is the protest chapter. There are many social movements that are happening throughout the country as of lately. Most of the protest groups are positive protesting, and the media makes the protest seem like riots. There are riots going on in Baltimore but that's not the only thing that's happening. The media sales violence and uses that to fuel the their company and the truth never really gets out. These are pretty much the same events that happened years before. It's sort of like history repeating itself. Instead of law enforcement keep things under wraps it's new technology and capturing these events on camera and it's being spread throughout the world due to social media. Referring back to previous history there were non violent protesters and violent protesters but the one that were seen the most were the violent ones.
The people who do destroy the neighborhoods are being glorified due to media ratings rather than the peaceful protesters who are looking to change things for the better. There were many deaths in the past few years that was un-just because murders were being committed and people weren't being convicted. The media is also portraying these young adults to be criminals because of the color of their skin. So now were are actually becoming targets to the law enforcement because the only people I see dying in the media are black men. Personally I have to move differently because being a young black male I automatically become a target to the police, and I could potentially become the next Freddie Gray and that's a scary thing to have to live through everyday.
I wanna express this in this blog because most people will never understand how this feels because we live in totally different worlds, and most people have never been discriminated against before. Being a black male in America is already a tough thing to handle and now recently police brutality happening more and more in America it makes things that much harder. If one was to dig deeper into the protesting one would understand that were fighting for each other and not against each other as the media tries to portray. So do one believe the things that are accusing is Justice or Just Us.
